CRIS

ACA-Apex's main home cabling system is called CRIS which stands for Compact Residential Infrastructure System. CRIS is a multitasking system specially designed to fully integrate all of your phone, television and computer requirements into one single cabling system. This feature makes CRIS the ideal system for dealing with modern household demands that require access to multiple phone lines, broadband services, and TVs. CRIS is a comprehensively scaleable system and can be sized up or down to suit properties of just about any size. The system itself has a flush mounted enclosure which is sleek and stylish and will fit discreetly into any style of decor.

SRAK

ACA-Apex has developed a slimline rack called SRAK which fills a niche for when full 19" racks are simply not suitable. The SRAK is a 19" wall mounted rack available in various U sizes but just 150mm deep. Our shallow rack can also be fitted with 300mm shelving, specifically designed to fit DVD players, amps and other deeper products. The SRAK is fully stackable as well as being completely compatible with standard 19" panels. The SRAK has also found use with custom installers for larger size installations as a temporary measure before larger racks are moved in.

DRAK

An abbreviation of Din rack, DRAK is another unique solution from ACA-Apex that combines a Din rail with a 19" inch rack, ideal for the large number of control products that now require Din mounting for medium and large size installations, especially since the DRAK can be stacked or mounted side by side. The large size DRAK has the ability to fit up to 4 Din rails at the back or up to 12U of 19" panels at the front while the compact small size can fit up to 2 Din rails and has the capacity to hold up to 6U of 19" panels in the front. Each Din rail can hold up to 25 D units with the rack itself just a sleek 155mm deep.

19" Panels

ACA-Apex stock a wide selection of 19" rack panels with a product offering that includes banana panels, flat banana panels, patch panels, RCA panels, f type panels, phoenix connector panels, brush panels, blank panels, 2U and 4U recessed panels, keystone jack panels, cable manager panels, 3U panels with either UK or US faceplate apertures, and many more. Our range is continuously evolving and updating and we are also able to offer a bespoke service where we build custom panels with mix and match connector types in order to meet your exact requirements.

Spider Infrastructure System

With a footprint that is just the size of a piece of A4 paper, the Spider Infrastructure System is the smallest available in the ACA-Apex home cable solution product range. Designed to be a single system for integrating the phone, TV, and computer and with the possibility of adding audio as well, the Spider System is perfect for smaller homes. The Spider System is wall mounted, has an enclosure, five 8-way size panels which are taken from our CRIS range and can also be fitted with a TV signal amplifier. On top of our usual range of options and accessories, we are also able to create bespoke Spider Systems on request.

Brush Plates

ACA-Apex have developed brush plates which offer a space saving solution for routing cables without data integrity losses that can occur with the need for further terminations. HDMI cables used with high definition television screens require cable interfaces of the highest quality making brush plates a very attractive option for their cabling needs. Our comprehensive range of brush plates includes face plates with permanently attached brushes, plates with brush adapters that fit behind face plates, and brush snap in modules that fit into euromod faceplates. Our brushes are available in both black and white to suit the needs of every decor.

Modules

From TV and satellite distribution modules to audio and surround sound modules, as well as telephone and computer modules to volume controls and A to B switches, ACA-Apex stocks a vast range of essential modules. Our range includes RCA, SVHS, 4mm speaker posts, RJ45s, and coax to name but a few with the possibility to manufacture specials on request to meet your exact specifications. As an example of the continuous innovation which ACA-Apex are proud to undertake, we were the first company to introduce modules with solderless termination on the rear, surround sound plates and architrave plates with a snap in module aperture among many more.

Lighting & Automation

An effective solution for lighting control and simple automation, ACA-Apex have developed our eDin control system. The eDin system is a lighting control system based on a modular design with a simple installation procedure and a highly programmable design. The eDin is also an extremely flexibly system and features a scaleable din rail mounted design allowing it to be sized to fit any requirement or size of home. The eDin is controlled via keypads which can be fully programmed for specific needs and are available in either 2, 5, or 10 button configurations. The system can, however, also be controlled via touch screen items like iPhones and iPads as well as via computers.

Audio Systems

With the vast array of audio systems on the market, ACA-Apex focus on bringing our customers products of the best quality and choice. One of our most popular systems for music distribution is the Nuvo Simplese which provides an affordable and reliable option of great quality. The Nuvo Simplese has multi-source capabilities with four audio source inputs providing up to four different music zones and the capacity to expand this up to 8 music zones. The system is capable of outputting sound of a very high quality with 30 watts of power for each zone. It also utilises a digital amplifier which offers a much cooler operating temperature and a higher output of power.

Speakers

ACA-Apex stock a wide range of speakers with our most popular and highly recommended option being the Monitor Audio in-ceiling speakers which are of a very high quality and reliability whilst being an extremely affordable option. Our Monitor range includes the Standard 6 1/2" speakers and the Dual Cone 6 1/2" speakers. The standard version includes an MMP®II bass driver and Monitor's signature C-CAM® gold dome tweeter which offers a very high level of sound performance plus a wide response and dispersion of frequency. The dual cone version contains two C-CAM® gold dome tweeters which can pivot independently offering the chance to experience stereo sound of very high quality from just one speaker.

Infrared Control

Having the option to tidy away the multitude of remote controlled devices present in the modern home, including DVD players, satellite boxes, and HiFi's, has always been desirable but ultimately unachievable as the remotes for these devices have always required a line of sight for operation. ACA-Apex have managed to solve this problem with our IR extender system allowing you to de-clutter without issue. The IR extender system consists of an infrared connecting block, requiring a power supply, receivers for every room in the house from which you wish to control your devices, and emitters to be placed in front of each device that is to be controlled.

TV Mounts

Including both branded and unbranded products, ACA-Apex has a comprehensive selection of TV mounts to suit every budget and requirement. With a range that includes mounts from Peerless, we can also provide a range of unique 100% recyclable mounts that are manufactured using lightweight but still strong composite materials that have the lowest carbon footprint in the market. Comparable in strength to similar metal brackets, our composite TV mounts weight, on average, half as much as their metal counterparts. Our range include brackets of various different sizes and weight capabilities, all of which have been tested by FIRA to ensure their suitability.

Media Conduit Kit

ACA-Apex offers the fantastic Media Conduit Kit which provides an effective yet remarkably simple way to conceal links from your equipment to your wall-mounted television. Utilising back boxes specifically designed for this purpose that are available in various configurations, the kits consist of a flexible and low friction conduit featuring a draw cord that requires mounting during building which is then attached to the back box. Our conduit can either be bought by the metre or in rolls of 25 metres as a more cost-effective option for larger projects. Our brush face plates are also perfect for use with our media conduit kits.

Cables & Accessories

To help you complete any type or size of project in the field of audio visual infrastructure, ACA-Apex is fully equipped to provide a great range of cables and accessories. Our selection includes various cable types including CAT5e, Cat6, speaker, coax and various different patch leads. Tools & Connectors

In order to help you get on with the job in hand, ACA-Apex can provide a selection of tools and connectors suitable for the audio visual infrastructure sector. Our range includes testing equipment, cable termination and cutting tools as well as various connectors such as F-type connectors, both metal screw on and plastic boot, and phoenix connector heads. Alongside crimp tools, cable strippers, T-bar tools, and micro cutters, ACA-Apex is also fully equipped to help you source any type of tool or connector not in our regular stock so please do not hesitate to get in touch and discuss your requirements.

CRIS Design Service

In order to help our customers turn their plans into a usable bill of materials, ACA-Apex can provide a CRIS design service under no obligation to the customer. Taking advantage of our design service could not be simpler - just email or post your plans to us for your new build or refurbishment project along with a description of your goals. Once received we will create and return to you a detailed schematic that will show a central CRIS enclosure and the items needed to realise your plans with product types and quantities clearly displayed. We will also include a quote with the schematic outlining the overall cost and the component breakdown.
