We can design and manufacture completely bespoke access ladders, suitable for use in a wide range of environments. Our ladders are made using fibreglass and benefit from being lightweight, durable, corrosion resistant, class 1 fire resistant and thermally stable. We can even provide ladders with safety cages for applications such as sewage treatment, power plants and chemical plants. Customers should note that our ladders can be delivered with all of the relevant fixings for self-assembly, or we can complete installation ourselves- it's completely up to you.

We can work with customers to design and build completely bespoke access platforms. There are many benefits to our access platforms, including a strong and lightweight structure which is thermally stable, corrosion resistant and non-conductive. However complex or large the job may be, we can provide a solution that is not only effective but also safe, reliable and built to British Standards (BS5359). We offer two different types of fibreglass handrail systems, square section and tubular section. The square section system is usually manufactured within our warehouse prior to being installed and is the preferred option for applications such as platforms, stairs and walkways. The tubular section system is easier to install on-site using only a few tools. Both systems can be installed by the customer but the square section system will require some modification prior to delivery- please get in touch to discuss this further.
We can offer an extensive range of pultruded structural profiles, manufactured from glass reinforced isophthalic polyester resin with a polyester surface veil. We have utilised this particular material because it's particularly durable and corrosion resistant but not as expensive as using steel. Just some of the different types of profile that we stock include, ladder rung, angles, I beams, handrails, round tubes and box sections. Our range of self-closing double bar safety gates are manufactured from instant set polymer and benefit from being corrosion and impact resistant. It's also worth noting that the moving parts of the gate do not require any type of maintenance or lubrication. The gates themselves are incredibly quick and easy to install and only require the use of a drill. We should point out that our gates conform to ISO14122, part 3:2004 and part 4:2005. We stock a range of anti-slip fibreglass sheet plates with a variety of different colours and sizes available. In terms of installation, we can cut and drill pieces of sheet plate for you, completely free of charge. It's also worth noting that we can use powerful adhesives for both internal and external installation. We are incredibly proud that our anti-slip GRP plate was rated as "better than excellent" during testing in both dry and wet conditions. Here at Anglia Composites Ltd, we are pleased to supply high-quality, anti-slip tread covers for stairways. Our anti-slip tread covers are manufactured from corrosion resistant materials making them tough and hard wearing. If specific sizes are required, we can cut and drill them free of charge. Alongside our anti-slip tread covers, we also supply our ‘TreadGrip’ anti-slip tread covers. These covers are manufactured from 4mm thick fibreglass and feature a quartz gritted surface making them tough and long-lasting. The nosing of the ‘TreadGrip’ anti-slip covers is in yellow as standard but can be supplied in white if required.
We also stock a wide selection of ladder guards in sizes up to 1800mm high x 440mm wide. Ladder guards are used to prevent unauthorised access to ladders and are easy to use by simply hooking over the rung of the ladder and then locking at the front or rear via a stainless-steel padlock bracket. Our ladder guards are light in weight and manufactured from rust free materials in order to be tough and robust for long-term use.
Install our top-quality decking strips for an improved grip, especially in wet conditions. Our timber decking strips are manufactured from corrosion resistant fibreglass and are suitable for use in areas of high traffic due to their hard-wearing properties. They are easy to install with screws (supplied with the anti-slip decking strips) and customers can choose from six different colours. Our anti-slip decking strips are available in 1000mm and 1200mm lengths as standard, and bespoke sizes can be manufactured to meet specific customer requirements.
We offer a range of stair nosings, including standard and custom sizes. The nosings themselves can be installed using mechanical fixings or through the use of adhesive. It's worth noting that they feature a campher on the edges and a quartz grit finish, this reduces the risk of tripping and negates slipperiness due to water or oil.
