These electrical switches are operated by an applied magnetic field which is generated by either a permanent magnet of a current-carrying coil. Our reed switches feature two ferromagnetic contact blades that are positioned in a hermetically sealed glass tube. They are available in either form A, form B, or form C. Form A is normally open, form B is normally closed, and form C is changeover. Reed switches are commonly used for applications such as reed relays, automotive sensors, robotic sensors, security sensors and toys and games. These light weight, compact switches are beneficial to many users.
Our tilt and tip-over switches are supplied as mercury metal or as our patented non-mercury metal. These switches are used to sense movement of a device.
