Devon Grain Store

Situated in Cullompton, Devon Grain Store was built in 1983 and currently provides a 20,000 tonne store capacity based on 19 storage silos, with a further eight holding silos each offering capacities ranging from 300 to 2,000 tonnes. At  Devon Grain Store, we operate two Svegma continuous flow grain dryers, capable of pre-cleaning grain at a rate of 80 tonnes per hour. We also offer a sophisticated chilling unit on site that will quickly cool any grain, even when under high ambient temperatures.

A TASSC accredited laboratory is located and run at our store, whereby each load is sampled for quality assurance on intake and at loading out. At Devon Grain Store we assure clients a rapid turnaround with minimal waiting times even during the busiest harvest periods. This is made possible with the use of three intakes, all capable of managing over 100 tonnes per hour.

Devon Grain operates in a trading area that includes Devon, West Dorset, and East Somerset and during peak times the store is open from 7.00am to 7.00pm, seven days a week. Tipping can be also arranged outside of these hours. We offer two types of membership, with capital members that own the store, and leasing members who rent space annually (subject to availability). To become a member, there is no minimum or maximum tonnage required.
